Who doesn’t like mustaches?

My son had a birthday party to go to for a boy at a rodeo… boys are just so hard to sew for… why is that?  Anywho, I had to come up with something and I stumbled across this post.  Genius, I thought.  Very rodeo-ish and what boy doesn’t love dress up AND mustaches?  I love it.  So, this is my version of these.  I used faux fur and backed it with felt.  My hubby also added a couple of other styles.  This is him modeling one of them (isn’t he a great sport… you’re a rock star, honey!)  It was a big hit especially with the grown ups in the crowd… you know my theory, right?  In every man lives a 13 year old boy.

The cowboy themed drawstring bag holds them all very nicely.  This might have to be my new go-to idea for boys.  My little guy loved them too.

Ha!  I just love it!

Other sewing goodness has been going on this week with the fabric from the last post and with some other sneaked in fabric for my niece.  I promise to show soon and to not wait so long until the next post.  Sorry, ya’ll!
